Art teaches me to see purpose in the mess of life.

and I am a local artist from Pine Bluff, Arkansas and have lived in Little Rock for the past eighteen years. I attended college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and received a Bachelors of Science with a minor in Business Management in 2003. After working years in management, I found myself continually going back to the canvas. With the encouragement of my family and friends, I left the corporate world to become a full time artist and have looked back since.

I have a natural tendency to gravitate toward the use of bright and bold colors in my art, as well as many different textures and contrasts. What I enjoy most about painting is the creative process in which something at first glance might appear to be a mistake, but with the stroke of my brush it can morph into the most amazing aspect of the piece. By embracing the mistake, I am able to see the good that can come from the the most unpredictable journey that my art takes me on.
